The compliance workflow
From flagged item to recorded decision.
Reviewers work from the same queue and policy. The record shows who reviewed the item, what they decided, and whether further action is needed.
- Prioritize
- Find flagged items by severity and policy rule, then assign a reviewer.
- Open with reason
- Authorized reviewers state why they need content. Allowed and denied access attempts are recorded.
- Resolve
- Escalate or close the item using your policy's dispositions.
- Retain
- Keep the reviewer, timestamp, policy version, disposition, and attestation with the record.
Sources and setup
Connect an eligible enterprise workspace.
A workspace administrator supplies the required provider permissions. Choose the retention period, archive deployment, and reviewer access before capture begins.
- Supported sources
- Claude Enterprise, ChatGPT Enterprise, and ChatGPT Edu through each provider's compliance API.
- Captured record
- Messages, authors, timestamps, conversations, and content as exposed by the provider API, collected on Tallin's polling cadence.
- Archive
- Append-only message records with per-conversation hash chains. Hosted archives use object-locked storage for the configured retention.
- Known limits
- Personal accounts and unconnected workspaces are not captured. Provider API availability, polling, and retention limits can create gaps; capture health reports them.
Custody and access
Choose where the archive lives.
Set retention independently of the provider's own window. Supervision records and reviews activity after it occurs. It does not block, rewrite, or filter content in flight.
- Tallin-hosted
- Tallin stores the archive on object-locked storage. Authorized reviewers can review content in the Tallin console today.
- Customer VPC
- The archive retains content within your environment; configured metadata and evidence are sent to Tallin. VPC-resident content review is on the roadmap.
- Reviewer permissions
- Content access requires authorization and a stated reason. Access attempts and review decisions are logged.
